The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Village of Sackets Harbor, as lead agency, has determined that the Village of Sackets Harbor Water System Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental imapct. The action involves improvements to the existing water filtration plant, located on Ambrose Street, with the addition of a 3600 square foot process building for a new filtration process for the existing plant and replacement of existing water mains located on Broad Street, Washington Street, Monroe Street, Hill Street, Ray Street and West Main Street. Replacement of the existing main will include new water service laterals to the road right-of-way line, hydrants, and valves. Replacement mains may be located within the area depicted on Fig. 2-3 of the "Preliminary Engineering Report, Village of Sackets Harbor Water System Improvements Project" (revised) dated March 2010 and on file with the Village Clerk. The project is located at the Water Treatment Plant on Ambrose Street, Broad Street, Washington Street, Monroe Street, Hill Street, Ray Street, and West Main Street, Sackets Harbor, NY.
