Columbia County - The Town Board of the Town of Ancram, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Town of Ancram Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of the Town of Ancram Comprehensive Plan in accordance with Section 272-a of the Town Law. The Plan includes an inventory of environmental resources, evaluation of public need, analysis of issues related to economic growth, agriculture, the environment, housing, community character, infrastructure, recreation, and cultural features and includes statements of goals related to the future growth of the Town. Included in the Plan are demographic statistics, analysis of land uses, public opinion information, and recommendations for the Town to implement in order to reach the aforementioned goals and needs. The project is located in the entire acreage located within the municipal boundary of the Town of Ancram, Columbia County.

Montgomery County - The Town of Florida Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Target Distribution Center East Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a ~470,431 square foot (s.f.) expansion of the east side of the existing Target Distribution Center. The project also includes a parking area relocation, general site modifications, utility connections, the extension of an emergency access road, and the expansion of truck dock space at the north side of the facility. The project is located on Route 5S, Town of Florida, NY.

Rensselaer County - The Town of East Greenbush Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the New York Independent System Operator will not have a significant adverse impact. The action involves the expansion of the New York Independent System Operator's (NYISO's) office building. The project is located at 10 Krey Boulevard, East Greenbush, NY.

Notice of Acceptance of Supplemental Draft EIS and Public Hearing
Rensselaer County - The City of Rensselaer Planning Commission, as lead agency, has accepted a Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact on the proposed Cottage Hill Development. A public hearing on the Supplemental Draft EIS will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. on the first floor of City Hall, 62 Washing Street, Rensselaer, NY. Written comments on the Supplemental Draft EIS will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on June 21, 2010. Copies of the Supplemental Draft EIS will be available (beginning April 21, 2010) for review at the City of Rensselaer Office of Planning & Development on the second floor of City Hall at 62 Washington Street or online at http://groups.google.com/group/cottage-hill-review. The action involves building on a 27 acre site a residential complex of 173 rental residential units (130 apartments) in 8 buildings of 3 or 4 stories. The original proposal was 30 townhomes and an 8-story building with 150 condominium units. The project area includes a capped former municipal landfill.
