Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a loading dock, depressed concrete ramp, and raised concrete pad for storage of materials, at an existing facility building, which will affect approximately 1820 sq. ft. of regulated adjacent area of NYS Freshwater Wetland JA-9. A fence will also be constructed along the existing business road, and continue behind the building at a maximum distance of 20 feet from the back of the building, with the fence constructed within Freshwater Wetland JA-9 or the 100 footwide regulated adjacent area. The fenced-in area will be mowed. As mitigation for wetland and regulated adjacent area impacts, the applicant proposes to clean up illegal dumping in the wetland and regulated adjacent area in the vicinity of the project. The facility is located at the address listed above.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.

SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Opportunity for Public Comment:

Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Apr 29, 2010.
