Applicant: Wyeth Pharmaceuticals
401 North Middletown Road
Pearl River, NY 10965

Facility: Wyeth Pharmaceuticals
401 North Middletown Road
Pearl River, NY 10965

Application ID: 3-3924-00025

Project is located: Pearl River, Rockland County

Project Description: New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has made a tentative decision to approve an application for emission reduction credits (ERCs) for past reductions which were the result of the shutdown of various units at the Wyeth Pharmaceuticals facility at Pearl River and the surrendering of the corresponding Certificates to Operate for the emission points. Since the emission points were not included in the current Title V permit, no permit modification is required. The applicant has requested 1.39 tons of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and 2.06 tons of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). NYS DEC will retain 25% of the ERCs therefore Wyeth Pharmaceuticals will receive 1.04 tons of NOx reduction and 1.55 tons of VOC reduction.

Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Sanford Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed RPG Village Center Development/Boundary Line Change will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the alteration of a lot line between existing parcels which are currently under site plan review by the Stanford Planning Board for a mixed retail and office development use, with conditional approval. The boundary line adjustment is for the purpose of compliance with Dutchess County Department of Health requirements for the siting of the wastewater treatment disposal system on the same lot as the building it is serving. The parcels are adjacent to the Campbell House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, resulting in the action being classified as a Type 1 action. The project is located at 6030 Route 82 in Stanfordville, Town of Sanford, New York.
