Project Description:
The Department has made a tentative determination to modify the existing permit for the existing sewage treatment plant outfall to the West Branch of the Tioughnioga River, a Class D watercourse. The "Environmental Benefit Permit Strategy" Department initiated modification includes new monitoring for Total Nitrogen, TKN, Nitrate (as N), and Nitrite (as N). This modification is proposed in accordance with the NYS Tributary Strategy for the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Restoration.
