Public Notice

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application from Canandaigua Crossroads, LLC for a site known as the Former Labelon Facility Corporation, site ID #C835016. This site is located in the City of Canandaigua, within the County of Ontario, and is located at 10 Chapin Street. Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than April 16, 2010. Information regarding the site, the application, and how to submit comments can be found at: http://www.dec.ny.gov/chemical/60058.html.

Negative Declaration

Steuben County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lawrence Gravel Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the operation of a new 3.8 acre gravel mine in Steuben County Agricultural District #7 on the applicant's 270.7 acre property. Excavation by mechanical equipment will remove approximately 220,000 cubic yards of material over a 10 to 15 year operational life. All material will be removed from above the water table, and no material processing will occur at the site. Material will leave the site as run of bank gravel. The project is located at 8412 Oak Hill road in the Town of Dansville, New York.

Wayne County - The Town of Williamson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Williamson Comprehensive Plan Update will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development and adoption of a Comprehensive Plan Update which addresses current conditions and anticipated changes through a series of policy statements. The project is located throughout the Town of Williamson, New York.
