Negative Declaration

Oneida County - The Sherrill City Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed West Hamilton Avenue Sewer Interceptor Contract #1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 24 inch parallel sanitary sewer interceptor from the intersection of West Hamilton Avenue to the City operated waste water treatment plant. The project will involve the construction of approximately 1,100 feet of 24 inch pipe. The project is intended to increase the volume of wastewater to the head of the plant, particularly during high flow events. The project will be constructed along an easement granted to the City. The property is vacant land and is currently being used as a practice range in conjunction with a neighboring golf course. The project is located at 489/505 West Hamilton Avenue in the City of Sherrill, New York.
