Project Description: The action involves a five-lot subdivision involving wetlands and the construction of one-single-family dwelling on the four residential lots to be created within 1/8 mile of lands of the State of New York classified as Wilderness. The fifth lot will be the shared access drive, and originates from an adjoining pre-existing lot of record that provides access from Okara Road.
Negative Declaration
Jefferson County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed FDG #1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of mining operations as described in Mined Land Reclamation permit application submitted by John Vespa, Inc. The project is located 1,800 feet west of Old Rome State Road and 1,600 feet south of NYS Route 3, approximately 3.5 miles west of the City of Watertown in the Town of Hounsfield, New York.

Negative Declaration
Jefferson County - The Village of Cape Vincent, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wastewater Collection/Treatment Facilities Corrective Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves plans to improve its existing wastewater collection and transport capacity through the upgrade of three pump stations and the installation of approximately 7,400 feet of new forced mains. Additionally, the village will need to replace the existing wastewater treatment facility to handle the increased flow. The project is located in the Village of Cape Vincent, New York.
