Chemung County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Halstead Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the mined-land reclamation permit application for the Halstead Mine submitted by the Dalrymple Gravel and Contracting Company, Inc. The applicant proposes to develop and operate a new 39.4 acre sand and gravel mine. The mine will operate as a traditional surface excavation of sand and gravel using mechanical equipment, standard for this type of mining operation. A loader or excavator and haul trucks will operate on site, and processing may also occur using a portable plant. No excavation will occur below the water table, nor is any consumptive use of water proposed. Reclamation to meadow/pasture land will be concurrent with mining activity. The reviewed Life-of-Mine (LOM) area is 39.4 acres.The project is located on the north side of State Route 427 (Wilawanna Road), approximately 3 miles east of Wellsburg in the Town of Chemung, New York.

Monroe County - The Penfield Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Classy Chassy Car Wash will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an application for Preliminary and Final Site Plan, Environmental Protection Overlay District (EPOD) Permit, and Conditional Use Permit approval to allow demolition of an existing dry cleaning facility and the construction of a 6 bay carwash with associated site improvements on a total of 0.68 ± acres to known as the Classy Chassy Car Wash. The project is located at 1600 Penfield Road in the Town of Penfield, New York.
