Notice of Acceptance of Final Supplemental EIS
Fulton County - The City of Gloversville Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter Project. A hard copy of the Final Supplemental EIS is available at the following locations:

The action involves the construction of a 186,979 square foot Wal-Mart Supercenter. The proposed project will be constructed on a 40 acre parcel owned by the Curtain Group, LP. The project will involve the creation of 890 parking spaces, the extension of municipal water and sewer services, the extension of public utilities, the construction of stormwater infrastructure and a wetlands mitigation area and the annexation of the Fulton County Credit Union property into the City of Gloversville from the Town of Johnstown. Based on the nature of the project, the proposed Supercenter will also require multiple approvals and actions from other local agencies, as well as State and Federal permits. The project is located on South Kingsboro Avenue Extension in the City of Gloversville, New York.
