Project Location: Larkfield Road and Doyle Court, East Northport in the Town of Huntington, New York
Project Description: SCDHS has made a tentative determination to issue a SPDES permit for the discharge of 15,000 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to the groundwater located at Larkfield Road and Doyle Court, East Northport, New York. The proposed discharge is located with an area designated as a sole source aquifer. The following public water purveyors have been identified as having service areas located within a three mile radius of the applicant's facility: 1) Suffolk County Water Authority.

Suffolk County - The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Three Village Community Trust Acquisition of the Tyler Homestead and Patriots Rock (Strategic Investment Program) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Dormitory Authority's authorization of the expenditure of approximately $880,000 of the proceeds of the Strategic Investment Program bond issuance for the Proposed Project, which would consist of the Three Village Community Trust's (TVCT) acquisition of an approximately 3.5 acre property known as the Tyler Homestead. Upon acquisition, TVCT would engage in landscaping and site clean-up activities, including the removal of invasive plant species from the property. No other construction activities would take place. The purpose of the acquisition is the permanent preservation of the structure and property and its use as a museum and center of community activity as a functional part of the adjacent Setauket Neighborhood House, a community meeting facility. The project is located at 97 Main Street in Setauket, Town of Brookhaven, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Nassau County - The Incorporated Village of Old Westbury Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, for Subdivision and Special Exception Use Permit Approval. The action involves the subdivision of a 97.3 acre property into a proposed cemetery and nine-lot residential subdivision. The cemetery portion of the property would contain an office chapel, maintenance area, mausoleum complex and multiple, at-grade areas for future grave sites to be developed in three phases over a period of approximately 45 years. The project is located on the northerly side of Jericho Turnpike between Hitchcock Lane and Powells Lane, in the Incorporated Village of Old Westbury, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town of Brookhaven Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Change of Zone Petition by Competition Realty. Copies of the Final SEIS are available for review at the Town of Brookhaven Town Clerk's Office, the Longwood Public Library, and on the Town of Brookhaven website: www.brookhaven.org. The action involves the acceptance of the Final SEIS for the proposed change of zone petition by Competition Realty. The project is located on the north side of State Route 25 immediately east of Tudor Lane in Middle Island, New York.
