Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Town of Henderson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Henderson Water District No. 2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approximately 15,000 linear feet of ductile iron water mains, 8,400 linear feet of water services, corporation stop assemblies, curb stop assemblies, water meters, valves, fire hydrants and water treatment plant filtration upgrades. The project is located at 12105 Town Barn Road in the Town of Henderson, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final Supplemental EIS

St. Lawrence County - The Adirondack Park Agency (APA), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Map Amendment 2009-09 (Town of Fine). The Final SEIS is available for public review at the Adirondack Park Agency headquarters, 1133 NYS Route 86, Ray Brook, NY. The Final SEIS can be viewed on the APA website at: http://www.apa.state.ny.us/_assets/mapamendments/MA200909_FSEIS.pdf. The action involves a proposed amendment to the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map (Map Amendment 2009-09). The proposed map amendment was initiated by the Adirondack Park Agency and involves a 60 ± acre area in the Town of Fine. The proposed amendment would reclassify the land from its current classification of Resource Management to Low Intensity Use. The proposed map amendment area is located west of Oswegatchie Trail Road and Lake Road, near the intersection of the two roads in the Town of Fine, New York.
