Project Description:

Install 105' of stacked limestone breakwall in a stepped back design. The wall will be approximately 3' high constructed of three tiers of 1' high angular limestone rocks. Each tier will be set back between 6" to 8" from the one below it. Six minus rock fill and filter fabric will be placed behind the limestone wall.

Project Description:

The applicant, operating an organic farm facility, and in cooperation with the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, proposes to install five farm equipment crossings across portions of regulated freshwater wetland TP-9, a 115 acre Class II wetland comprised of wet meadow, shrub swamp and open water potholes. Crossings will involve the filling of approximately 3360 square feet (0.08 acres) of wetland. The purpose of the project is to prevent livestock from entering wetlands, provide clean crossings for farm equipment, and to control sediment and soil erosion impacts. In addition, two infiltration tile spring well areas will be created for farm use. The wells would be in the adjacent area of the wetland and would impact approximately 25 square feet each.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to add 1.3 acres to an approved 4.7 acre sand mine, located west of Mein Road, approximately 2,700 feet south of the intersection of Mein Road and State Highway 37. It is further located approximately 1.7 miles due west of the hamlet of Louisville. No processing or stockpiling of product material takes place at this mine. Material is extracted with an excavator and loader and transfered to trucks for delivery.
