Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Schenectady County - The Town of Rotterdam, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Golub Corporation Partial Dunnsville Road Relocation and Conceptual Distribution Center Expansion. Copies of the FEIS are available for review at the Rotterdam Branch of the Schenectady County Library, the Rotterdam Town Clerk's Office, and on-line at: www.rotterdamny.org. The action involves the relocation of approximately 900 feet of Dunnsville Road, a subdivision of real property, and rezoning property owned by Golub from Retail Business and Agricultural to Light Industrial, as well as an amendment to the Town Comprehensive Plan. The applicant proposes to increase the warehousing capability of the site by approximately 410,000 square feet of gross floor area to allow Price Chopper to consolidate and expand warehousing operations. The existing facility is located at 501 Duanesburg Road and the expansion encompasses property on the west side of the existing Dunnsville Road, east of the National Grid right-of-way, and south of Duanesburg Road, Town of Rotterdam, New York.
