Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Red Hook Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bulkeley Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdividing of 0.63 ± acres of land with an existing house, well and septic system from a 118.63 ± acre parcel in the RD 3 Zoning District. The proposed lot is being created under the requirements of the Important Farmland and cluster provisions in the Town's Zoning Law. The remaining 118 acres have been placed under a permanent conservation easement. The project is located on Dutchess County Route 78 (West Kerleys Corners Road) in the Town of Red Hook, New York.

Positive Declaration and Additional Public Scoping

Westchester County - The Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustess, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Dobbs Ferry Vision Plan and Amendments to the Zoning Code may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted until November 20, 2009. A public scoping session will be held on November 20, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Village of Dobbs Ferry Village Hall. There was a previous public hearing on November 6, 2009 so November 20, 2009 is an additional hearing date. A hard copy of the scoping document is available at the following locations: Village Hall, 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 and the Dobbs Ferry Public Library, 55 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. The online version of the scoping document is available at the following publically accessible web site: www.dobbsferry.com.

The action involves a draft revision of the Village's Vision Plan and amendments to the zoning regulations. The purpose of this action is to direct the future of the Village's development and set forth the Village's policies on numerous issues such as, but not limited to, parking, density, open space and smart growth. The documents are accompanied with text and photographs, maps, sketches and other necessary information. The project is located throughout Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft Supplemental EIS and Public Hearing

Orange County - The Town of Tuxedo, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Special Permit and Preliminary Plan Amendments for Tuxedo Reserve, Proposed Rezoning for Tuxedo Reserve, and Proposed Amendments to Local Law No. 4A of 1998. A public hearing on the Draft SEIS will be held on November 23, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, One Temple Drive, Tuxedo, NY 10987. A copy of the Draft SEIS, the Technical Memorandum, the application to amend the special permit and preliminary plan, the proposed zoning map change, and the proposed amendment to Local Law No. 4A of 1998 may be obtained from the contact persons listed below or the Tuxedo Park Library, 227 Route 17, Tuxedo, New York 10987, or online at www.tuxedogov.org.

The action involves a set of amendments to the special permit and preliminary plan for the Tuxedo Reserve Planned Integrated Development. The proposed amendments would change the unit mix of the project, change the locations for proposed development, increase the amount of permitted commercial development, revise various design and performance standards for the project, as well as propose other changes more particularly described in the DSEIS. In addition, the proposed action would include a zoning map change to cause the zoning for Tuxedo Reserve to be consistent with the changes proposed to the Tuxedo Reserve special permit and preliminary plan. Finally, the proposed action includes an amendment to Local Law No. 4A of 1998 to change the permitted unit mix for Tuxedo Reserve. The project is located in the Town of Tuxedo, New York.
