Project Description:
Applicant (Miron Realty Inc.) is proposing to construct 50 seasonal/vacation units on 38.5 acres in the Town of Fallsburg, Sullivan County with connection to municipal water and the construction of a private wastewater treatment system. The proposed treatment system is a pre-engineered on site wastewater treatment system with direct surface water discharge in the amount of 20,000 gallons per day to a tributary of Pleasure Lake (NYS water index # D-1-38-3-P45-1, Class C). The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new SPDES permit # NY-0274356. A draft SPDES permit with DEC proposed effluent limits and monitoring requirements is available for review at the DEC Region 3 headquarters in New Paltz. The permittee will be required to maintain records and report data to verify compliance with the SPDES permit conditions and discharge limits.

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
