Notice is hereby given that the New York State Office of Children and Family Services has declared that the Albany Community Urban Home, situated at 79 Ryckman Avenue, City of Albany, Albany County, improved with a two story residential building consisting of 2.626 ± square feet, circa 1947, located on approximately 0.11 acres, is no longer useful for State program purposes and has been declared abandoned to the Commissioner of General Services for sale or other disposition as unappropriated State land.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Comment Period

Greene County - The Town Board of the Town of Windham, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Development of Capacities of the Town of Windham. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until December 3, 2009. The Draft GEIS is available on the Sterling Environmental Engneering, P.C. website at: www.sterlingenvironmental.com/clients/town-windham/index.htm. It is also available for review at the Windham Public Library, 5379 State Route 23, Windham, NY and at the Windham Town Hall, 371 State Route 296, Hensonville, New York during normal business hours. The action involves the identification and evaluation of the environmental and infrastructure impacts needed to have a sustainable community. The project is located throughout the Town of Windham, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Albany County - The City of Albany Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Albany Medical Center New Patient Wing. A hard copy of the Final EIS is available at the City Planning Board Offices, 21 Lodge Street, Albany, New York. The online version of the Final EIS is also available at the following publically accessible web site: http://www.albanyny.org.

The action involves a proposed construction project to be located contiguous to existing hospital facilities at the Albany Medical Center. The project will consist of a new six story, 325,000 square foot addition for patient care services. The project also includes selective renovation to the existing hospital in order to facilitate ongoing service delivery during construction and to reconfigure areas vacated by clinical programs after they relocated to the new building. The project will involve demolition of Building U, and existing 65,000 square foot building that was built in 1963, and replace it with a new 325,000 square foot building adjacent to Building D. The project is located at 43 New Scotland Avenue in the City of Albany, New York.
