Project Description: The project involves the creation of two new building lots on the shoreline of Woods Lake in a previously permitted subdivision and the retention of the remainder of the project site. Lot 28 is 1.86 ± acres with 198 feet of shoreline on Woods Lake. Lot 29 is 1.78 ± acres with 291 feet of shoreline on Woods Lake. One new single family dwelling serviced by a well and on-site wastewater treatment system is proposed for each lot. One 5 foot x 20 foot dock is also proposed for each lot. Access to the lots will be over existing subdivision roads maintained by a homeowners association and by a shared driveway. There is an existing Nordic Ski Center and rental cabins known as Lapland Lake Ski Center on the retained portion of the project site.


Negative Declaration

Franklin County - The Village of Chateaugay, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Foundry Street Pump Station, Force-Main and Sewer Main Replacements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the reconstruction of the Foundry Street sewer pump station and replacement of 1,250 ± feet of sewer force main from the pump station to the discharge manhole on East Main Street. The project also involves the replacement of 680 feet ± of collection main and sewer laterals along NYS Route 11 . The project is located at Foundry Street, LaCount Street and East Main Street in the Village of Chateaugay, New York.

Fulton County - The Gloversville-Johnstown Joint Sewer Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 2008 Gloversville-Johnstown Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a variety of upgrades at the Treatment Plant including:

• Improvements to the dissolved air flotation unit.
• Increased digester thickener capacity.
• The addition of a belt press.
• Installation of a new generator.
• Several miscellaneous improvements.

The project is located at 191 Union Avenue in Johnstown, New York.
