Project Description:
The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new permit for a proposed discharge of 40,000 gallons per day of treated sanitary wastewater from a 408 bed student housing facility to an unprotected tributary to Lake Ontario. The wastewater would be treated at a new on-site treatment facility providing tertiary treatment based on membrane filtration technology applied to a modified activated sludge process. The application and project plans are available for review in the Syracuse Office.
