Negative Declaration
Jefferson County - The Village of Adams, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Adams Water System Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approximately 1,400 feet of new 12 inch ductile iron water main, replacement of four (4) gate valves at the intersection of Main Street and Church Street, coating and cathodic protection of the interior and exterior surfaces of the North Tank, installation of new level measuring control devices at both the North and South Tank sites and installation of a new clear well and packaged pumping and treatment building at the water treatment facility. The amended portion of the project consists of the installation of approximately 1,900 feet of new 8 inch water main and appurtenances along Clay Street, High Street and VFW Drive in the Village of Adams to replace existing 6 inch water main. The project is located throughout the Village of Adams, New York.
