Project Description: The project is a subdivision into sites involving the lease of a 100 foot x 100 foot parcel for the construction of a new 88 foot tall (above existing ground level - AGL) telecommunications tower within a 14 foot x 28 foot fenced in equipment compound. The compound will be located 150 feet ± from the edge of pavement of New York State Route 9. The tower will be a simulated tree tower with branching extending 90 feet ± AGL. Three 4.9 foot camouflaged panel antennas are proposed at a centerline height of 86 feet AGL. The lease agreement, among other things, protects the existing trees within 200 feet of the proposed tower.
Within the fenced equipment compound T-Mobile Northeast, LLC is proposing to construct a 10 foot by 16 foot equipment pad for a backup generator and three equipment cabinets. The cabinets will be housed under a 12 foot tall canopy which is designed to protect the cabinets from falling ice and branches.
Access to the facility will be from a new 250 foot ± long, 8 foot wide access drive. Underground utilities will be installed directly adjacent to the access road.
