Project Title: Clifton-Fine Hospital

Project Description: The action involves the construction of a 6,700 ± square foot addition on the hospital to house 8 medical clinic exam rooms, 5 offices, staff work area, new hospital entrance and lobby, waiting room, reception area, public restrooms, utility rooms, medical records area, storage area, a new elevator, with additional parking and lighting.

Negative Declaration

Oneida County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NanoCenter Mitigation at Oriskany Flats Wildlife Management Area will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the mitigation proposal outlined in the May 2009 Marcy NanoCenter Oriskany Flats Wildlife Management Mitigation Plan developed by O'Brien & Gere. The project is located at the Oriskany Flats Wildlife Management Area in the Towns of Marcy and Whitestown, City of Rome, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Lewis County - The Town of Martinsburg Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Roaring Brook Wind Power Project. The full text of the FEIS may be obtained from the Town Clerk during normal business hours, at the Martinsburg Library and the following website at: www.ppmenergy.com/roaringbrook.html. Any comments on the FEIS must be submitted and received by the Town of Martinsburg Planning Board at the address listed below no later than 7:00 p.m. on September 23, 2009.

The action involves a proposal to develop the Roaring Brook Wind Power Project with a maximum generating capacity of approximately 78 megawatts. The project will be located on 44 parcels of leased private land (eight landowners) totaling approximately 5,280 acres. The current project design consists of approximately 39 Gamesa G90 2.0 MW wind turbines (or similar) with 90 meter (295 foot) rotor diameter mounted on 100 meter (328 foot) tall tubular towers. The project is located on various parcels in the Town of Martinsburg, New York.
