Chemung County - The Town of Big Flats, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Formation of Town of Big Flats Sewer District #1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the formation of the Town of Big Flats Sewer District #1 and the installation of a sewer system that shall serve portions of the Maple Street area. The sewer system shall consist of gravity sewers (with manholes), a pump station and a forcemain. The project is located in the area of Maple Street in the Hamlet of Big Flats, New York.

Monroe County - The County of Monroe as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Oatka Creek Park Athletic Fields will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of two athletic fields in Oatka Creek Park. The project involves approximately 3.5 acres of existing old field and includes a balanced cut and fill grading on site and seeding for grass development. Parking for 55 cars already exists on the site and is considered adequate for users of the athletic fields. This is an amendment to the negative declaration issued June 19, 2009. The review was changed to Type 1 as a result of the project area increasing from 2.4 to 3.5 acres. The project is located at the southwest corner of Union Street and Quaker Road in Scottsville, Town of Wheatland, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft Generic EIS and Public Hearing
Wayne County - The Town of Ontario, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Commerce Center. A public hearing on the Draft GEIS will be held on August 24, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ontario Town Hall, 1850 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. Written comments on the Draft GEIS will be accepted until September 3, 2009. A hard copy of the DGEIS is available at the town offices listed below, the Ontario Public Library and on the town website at: www.ontariotown.org. The action involves the development of an industrial park located on approximately 354 acres of industrially-zoned area. The Town Board intends to adopt a Master Plan for the project. The project is located north of State Route 104 between Dean Parkway and Lakeside Drive in the Town of Ontario, New York.
