Negative Declaration

Ontario County - The City of Canandaigua City Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Steamboat Hotel will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a site plan amendment which would permit the construction of a 153,100 square foot hotel and conference center with 293 parking spaces on approximately 4.0 acres. The site is currently occupied by a 12,000 square foot restaurant and conference center with 256 parking spaces. The proposed construction would also entail a parking garage and the replacement of an existing 12 slip seasonal dock with a permanent 46 slip dock in Canandaigua Lake. The project is located at 205 Lakeshore Drive in the City of Canandaigua, New York.
