Project Description: The action involves installation of a structure greater than 40 feet in height. The applicant proposes installation of a wind-powered turbine to generate electricity to supplement power to an existing single-family dwelling. The proposed tower is a 65 foot tall, guyed, 3.5 ± inch diameter tubular pole, with turbine blades that are nine feet in diameter. The maximum height of the tower and blades is 70 feet.

Project Title: Town of Long Lake

Location: Kickerville Road and off Cemetary Road in the Town of Long Lake, New York.

Project Description: Construction of a new 500,000 gallon water storage tank and service road, a stormwater management system, new production wells, a treatment building and new water lines between the new tank and existing water lines. New water lines will be installed along Town roads to connect the new water storage tank to existing water lines located in the shoulder of NYS Route 28.


Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The City of Saratoga Springs, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Geyser Crest Well Field Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of an underground chlorine contact vessel, replacement of existing well pump motors with high efficiency motors, replacement of existing reduced voltage motor starters with variable frequency drives, removal of a failed 5,000 gallon steel underground hydropneumatic tank, piping and pump modifications within the well field control buildings, as well as improvements to the building heating, and insulation systems in the two onsite control buildings. The project is located on 23 Hathorn Boulevard in the Saratoga Springs, New York.

Saratoga County - The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Endangered Butterfly Habitat Restoration will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the restoration of approximately 3.5 acres of habitat for the federally endangered Karner blue butterfly and the state listed threatened frosted elfin butterfly at Saratoga Spa State Park. In accordance with cooperative management agreements between NYS OPRHP and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), this proposal calls for the reestablishment of wild blue lupine patches and nectar species. The project is located in the Saratoga Spa State Park in the City of Saratoga Springs, New York.

Warren County - Warren County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed On-Airport Obstruction Removal Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the removal of obstructions affecting navigable airspace to Runway 1-19 and Runway 12-30 in compliance with federal regulations and design standards. The action generally consists of tree and shrub removal at the airport. The proposed action is to enhance safety while maintaining the Airport's existing operational capacity, and to comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and design standards. The proposed project involves the following:

Removal of approximately 34.4 acres of vegetation located on-airport affecting navigable airspace to Runway 1-19.

Removal of approximately 11.1 acres of vegetation located on-airport affecting navigable airspace to Runway 12-30.

The project is located at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury, New York.
