Project Description:
This roadway improvement project along a 2.9 mile stretch of G&W Road involves the installation of seven new culverts ranging in size from 12"x20' to 15"x30' and the replacement of a culvert 36"x20' with one 36"x25' in class 2 state regulated wetlands P-39, P-70, P-64 and P-60. All the culverts will be placed within the existing footprint of the road with no further expansion into the wetlands.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:
Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Jul 30, 2009.

Project Description:
The project entails the bank stabilization along the northern margin of a section of G&W Road that crosses the Whetstone Gulf Reservoir and a state regulated class 2 wetland (P-33). Approximately 445 cubic yards of large angular rip rap will be placed along a 1300 foot section of the edge of the causeway that supports G&W Road using an excavator and/or a payloader.
