Erie County - The New York State University Construction Fund, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed State University College at Buffalo Renovation of the Science Building, Phase I and II will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the renovation of Science Building 15 in two phases. Phase 1 will construct a 100,000 square feet 3 story building addition to the existing Science I building; Phase 2 will renovate the remaining Science I building, demolish the existing Science II building and extend the new building addition to the south. The project is located at the State University College at Buffalo, 1300 Elmwood Avenue in the City of Buffalo, New York.

Conditioned Negative Declaration
Chautauqua County - The Town of Chautauqua Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC - Modification of Telecommunications Tower will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice.
The action involves an application for a special permit to first remove 9 existing panel antennas on an existing telecommunications tower and replace them in the same location with 6 panel antennas; second add 3 addition lines of coaxial cable; and finally construct a new 8 foot x 6 foot concrete pad and place a new equipment cabinet within the existing tower compound. The project is located at 4615 Chautauqua-Stedman Road in the Town of Chautauqua, New York.
The conditions are:
a. The Applicant shall consult with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) about its recommended method of safeguarding the active osprey nest currently located on the telecommunications tower
b. The Applicant shall submit to the Board prior to the commencement of any work at the project site written documentation and description of the plan to be followed with regard to the safeguarding of the osprey nest during the proposed work, which shall include evidence that the NYS DEC has reviewed and approved such plan.
