The project also includes a 12 foot x 30 foot equipment building on a concrete pad at the base of the tower. The tower and equipment building will be within a 22.5 foot x 50 foot fenced compound. Verizon proposes a 12 panel triangular antenna array (i.e. four 8-foot panels on each side) at the top of the tower. Access will be by an existing road in a gravel pit and a 280 ± foot extension of the road. Utilities will be installed underground.

On June 11, 2009, the Agency received a proposal from Verizon for an alternative to the 74 foot tower. The alternative is for a 92 foot tall simulated tree tower which would provide for co-location by a second telecommunications carrier on the tower.
