Negative Declaration

Queens County (Queens) - The New York City School Construction Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed P.S./I.S 52 Queens (Building Addition) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new, approximately 400 seat addition to P.S./I.S. 42 building. Construction of this proposed school addition would be conducted pursuant to New York City Department of Education's Capital Plan for Fiscal years 2005-2009. The project is located at 488 Beach 66th Street in Queens, New York.

Kings County (Brooklyn) - The New York City School Construction Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Primary School Replacement Facility for P.S. 133, Brooklyn will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by New York City School Construction Authority (NYC SCA) on behalf of the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE), to construct a new school facility on the grounds of the existing P.S. 133 school facility in Brooklyn. The proposed new facility would contain a total of approximately 960 seats serving students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. It would accommodate the existing P.S. 133 school organization and a new primary school organization. The proposed facility would also include space for use by District 75 (City-Wide Special Education) students. The proposed site is an assemblage of three lots owned by the City of New York and under the NYC DOE's jurisdiction and management. The project is located at 375 Burler Street in Brooklyn, New York.
