Project Description: The action involves construction of a dock at the shoreline of Indian Lake. The dock will be approximately 32 feet in length, and the end of the dock will be located approximately 30 feet from the navigational buoys marking the Indian Lake channel. The first 8 feet length of the dock - extending from above the mean high water mark and crossing wetlands along the shoreline - will be 4 feet wide, and the remaining 24 feet of dock length will be 8 feet wide. The dock will be raised 18-24 inches above the surface of the water and will be supported by 5 inch pipe on foot square, ¼ inch plates resting on the lake bottom. This dock proposal amends and replaces the applicant's original proposal to construct a boathouse. The Boathouse is no longer proposed and instead only a dock will now be constructed.
