Project Title: Schroon Lake School Distirct
Location: The project site is located on the westerly side of NYS Route 9 in the hamlet of Schroon Lake, in the Town of Schroon Lake, New York.

Project Description: A greater than 25 percent expansion of an existing structure greater than 40 feet in height. The structure to be expanded is the Schroon Lake K-12 School. The original structure constructed in 1932 was a two story building 20,947 ± square feet in size (footprint). The 1932 building has an approximate height of 34 feet. The gable end of the 1932 building has a height of 48 ± feet with a chimney extending 6 ± feet above the highest point of the gable. Since 1932, two additions, (1962, 1965) have been added to the original structure adding an additional 12,496 ± square feet (footprint) to the original structure. The Schroon Lake School District proposes to construct a 12,427 ± square feet two story structure. Approximately 8,609 square feet will be a single floor level while 3,808 ± square feet of the addition will be two stories. The addition will have an average approximate height of 34 feet above the surrounding grade. Total square footage to be added after the demolition of a 1965, 2,255 ± square foot metal building will be 10,172 ± square feet.
Saratoga County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Route 9P over Saratoga Lake Outlet (PIN 1247.08.122) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of the Route 9P bridge over the Saratoga Lake Outlet in the City of Saratoga Springs and the Town of Saratoga. The project will replace the bridge on existing alignment. The new bridge will have 11 foot lanes, 4 foot shoulders and sidewalks on both sides of the road. The roadway approaches to the bridge will also be reconstructed to match the new bridge. The project is located on Route 9P in the City of Saratoga Springs and the Town of Saratoga, New York.

Saratoga County - The Town of Wilton Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 4300 Route 50 LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of 141,400 square feet of commercial and industrial space within 7 buildings with associated well, septic, road, parking and stormwater management basins on 20.3 acres. The project is located at 4300 Route 50 in the Town of Wilton, New York.

Washington County - The Village of Hudson Falls Village Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2009 - Amendment to Chapter 215 "Zoning," Article VIII, "Parking and Loading Requirements" of the Code will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law No. 1 of 2009 which amends Article VIII of the Zoning Law. The project is located throughout the Village of Hudson Falls, New York.
