Dutchess County - The Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority (DCWWA), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Red Hook Central Sewer project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the establishment of a new central sewer system to serve areas in the Village and Town of Red Hook to be owned and operated by the DCWWA. The project incudes the establishment by Dutchess County of a Part-County Sewer District, the acquisition of an existing privately owned Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) (located off of Route 9 and commonly referred to as the Red Hook Commons WWTP) and construction of the collection system. The project is located on Route 9 (Broadway) and Route 199 (Market Street) in the Town and Village of Red Hook, New York.

Westchester County - The Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Development, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sale of 41-49 Buena Vista Avenue will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the sale of property designated as Lots 11, 13, and 15 and having an address of 41-49 Buena Vista Avenue in the City to Teutonia Buena Vista, LLC. The project is located at 41-49 Buena Vista Avenue in Yonkers, New York.

Conditioned Negative Declaration
Putnam County - The Town of Southeast Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brewster Southeast Joint Fire District Substation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice. The action involves the proposal by the applicant, the Brewster Southeast Joint Fire District, to construct a new 4,875 square foot Fire Department substation building on a 4.5 acre lot on Milltown Road in the R-60 and R-160 Zoning Districts. The project is located at 390 Milltown Road in the Town of Southeast, New York.
The conditions are: The approval by the Putnam County Highway and Facilities Department, as deemed necessary and appropriate, of installation of any signage or other such traffic warning devices or modifications to roadway geometry to ensure the safety of all vehicles using Milltown Road.

Westchester County - The Town of Yorktown Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Draft 2009 Comprehensive Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the adoption of a Comprehensive Plan with proposed zoning text changes and proposed rezoning. The project is located town wide in the Town of Yorktown, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft GEIS and Public Hearing
Orange County - The Town Board of the Town of Wallkill, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Comprehensive Plan Implementation - Phase II. A public hearing on the Draft GEIS will be held on June 11, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Wallkill Town Hall, 99 Tower Drive, Building A, Middletown, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until 10 days after the close of the public hearing or 30 calendar days from the filing of this Notice and the DGEIS, whichever is later. Copies of the proposed Amendments to the Town Code and the DGEIS are available for public inspection during regular business hours at:

The action involves the proposal by the Town of Wallkill to update and amend the zoning code and district map with town-wide changes to reflect the goals of the Town's most recent Comprehensive Plan. The code changes include modification to Chapter 209, entitled "Subdivision of Land" and modification to Chapter 249, entitled "Zoning". Modifications to Chapter 249 include revisions to section 80 entitled "Conservation Subdivisions"; the addition of new section 81 entitled "Water Resources Protection"; the addition of new section 82, entitled "Planned Residential Development Overlay District", and additional miscellaneous modifications and text edits to Chapter 249. The zoning map changes include revisions of many district boundaries to eliminate conditions where parcels are divided by two or more different zoning districts. The project is located town wide in the Town of Wallkill, New York.
