Project Description:
Expand existing 100-slip docking facility by an additional 42-slips. Remove existing dock (with gas pump) and support structures (~ three 36"concrete-filled piers). Install floating dock with cover, supported by 3" diameter steel pipes, providing dockage space for 42 boats. Existing gas pump will be moved to a dock at the shoreline. Facility perimeter will be expanded from 86,110 sq ft to 104,930 sq ft.

The applicant proposes to discharge up to 25 gallons per day of treated floor drain wastewater to groundwaters from a maintenance facility floor drain treatment system consisting of an equalization chamber, oil/water separator, sand filter, and activated carbon filter at Whiteface Mountain Ski Center's existing Maintenance Building located at 5021 St Rte 86 in Wilmington, NY. This is a permit modification to add Outfall 004 to an existing SPDES permit.
The Department has made a tentative determination to issue a permit for a State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit under Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law. This tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statute is considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information available to the Department at this time. As a tentative determination, the Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance. As such, this tentative determination does not signify Department approval for or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall proposed project.

Project Description:
Proposed improvements to portions of Cold Springs Road, Elmore Robinson Road, Fitch Road and Farley Road, to upgrade these mostly unpaved roadways to meet Town of Stillwater standards. Road reconstruction will disturb 0.07 acre of Freshwater Wetlands ME-24 (Class II) and ME-32 (Class I), and 2.97 acres of wetland adjacent area. Thirteen undersized or deteriorated culverts will be replaced, including two protected stream culverts (tributaries of Plum Brook and Mechanicville Reservoir). As mitigation, 1.16 acres of off-site wetland will be created to the north of Halfway House Road, at Freshwater Wetland ME-34.
