Project Description:

The applicant proposes to remove 90 feet of bulkhead and construct 103 feet of bulkhead, 18" higher, landward of the existing bulkhead and place 20 cubic yards of clean fill in the boat slip. Construct 12' and 6' returns. Dredge 10' seaward of replacement bulkhead to a maximum of 4' below apparent low water. Resultant 25 cubic yards of dredge material and 50 cubic yards of clean fill to be placed landward of new bulkhead. Install a 4' x 6' platform, 3' x 18' ramp and 6' x 60' float and 10' x 12' float. The property is located on Riverside Dr., Bellmore Creek, Wantagh, Town of Hempstead.
