The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Monroe County - Mayor Robert J. Duffy, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Mt. Hope Avenue/East Henrietta Road Improvements and Rezoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning of the properties at 1256-1510 Mt. Hope Avenue (even), 1325-1521 Mt. Hope Avenue (odd), 30 East Henrietta Road, 683 Elmwood Avenue, and 793-797 Elmwood Avenue from C-2 Community Center, and 35 Crittenden Boulevard, and 22 and 25 Raleigh Street from R-1 Low Density Residential, to Collegetown Village District (C-V District); to amend the Zoning Text by adding the Collegetown Village District (C-V District) regulations to the Zoning Code and to make modifications to the major site plan review triggers; to amend the official map by acquiring and dedicating portions of private property as public right-of-way for street improvement purposes; and, to commence a street improvement project including new street pavement and widening, sidewalks, on-street parking, access management, a raised median, street trees, signalized intersection improvements and other street amenities. The project is located Mt. Hope Avenue between Cook Street and Rossiter Road/Raleigh Street in the City of Rochester, New York.
