Westchester County - The Village of Briarcliff Manor, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Briarcliff Manor Full Water Supply Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new aqueduct tap accompanied by a new paymeter and a short length (< 500 feet) of transmission main off Executive Boulevard in the Town of Greenburgh. Also included in this project is the proposed Pump Station for the Village of Briarcliff Manor (footprint of approximately 4,000 square feet) would be constructed adjacent to the existing Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Pump Stations. An extension of the existing 30 inch main that delivers water to the existing pump stations is also proposed along Neperan Road (Tarrytown, NY) to feed the proposed Briarcliff Manor pump station. The proposed pump station would house three high-lift pumps, HVAC equipment, electrical equipment, and chemical feed systems. Lastly, included is a 4 mile transmission main is proposed in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Briarcliff Manor to the Rosecliff Storage Tank for use by the Village of Briarcliff Manor. The Tap and Meter Building is located off Executive Boulevard in the Town of Greenburgh, the Pump Station is locate off Neperan Road in Tarrytown and the Transmission Main located in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Briarcliff Manor, New York.
