Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Lancaster, as lead agency, has determined that the Proposed Retail Building will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a one story, approximately 10,545 square foot retail building on a 1.00 ± portion of a parcel. An Aldi's grocery store is currently under construction on the western portion of the parcel. The proposed retail building will be located on the eastern portion of the parcel and proposed improvements include the new building, associated parking areas, utilities and an access driveway connecting to the Aldi's parking lot currently under construction. The existing site currently consists mostly of miscellaneous ground cover including shrubs, grasses and trees. The project action includes the necessary site clearing, installation of said improvements, as well as all required approvals and/or permits from the appropriated agencies. The project is located on 4931 Transit Road in the Town of Lancaster, New York.

Positive Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Hamburg Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Villages at Mission Hills may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the development of an 83.28 ± acre site into a 348 ± mixed senior residential development to be called the Villages at Mission Hills. The proposed development consists of 208 ± apartments, 42 ± townhouse-type apartments and 92 ± single family homes. Two community centers are proposed and a large portion of the site is proposed to be left as open space in its natural state. The project is located on the east side of Camp Road, north of Howard Road and south of the railroad tracks in the Town of Hamburg, New York.

Erie County - The Town of Lancaster, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning Application for 5497 Genesee Street may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the application for rezoning for 5497 Genesee Street from A.R. (Agricultural Residential) to M.F.R-4 (Multi-Family Residential District Four) for the purpose of constructing 20 apartment buildings (total of 160 apartment units) and 25 condominium buildings (total of 50 condominium units). The project is located at 5497 Genesee Street in the Town of Lancaster, New York.
