Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Greece Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Latta Road Senior Living Community will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposal by Arena Development to rezone 11.78 ± acres of real property from R1-12 ( Single Family Residential) to RMS (Multiple Family Residential - Senior Citizen). The proposal is for a one (1) three (3) story apartment building (176 apartment units exclusively for income qualified senior citizens; 169,000 ± total square feet), with related paved parking, utilities, grading, landscaping/buffering and other site modifications. The project is proposed to be completed by late 2010 or early 2011. Access to the site is proposed via Latta Road (NYS Route 18, a four lane highway) and will include access across the adjoining property to the west and a traffic signal at Long Pond Road (Monroe County Route 136, a four lane highway). The site currently consists of two single family houses and undeveloped land. Existing land uses in the vicinity consist of single family residential, office, commercial and a public park. The project is located at 3027 and 3058 Latta Road (NYS Route 18), contiguous to the north side of the Town of Greece's Sawyer Park in the Town of Greece, New York.

Positive Declaration

Monroe County - The Penfield Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bay Towne Plaza Expansion Rezoning may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves an application by DiMarco Brandt Point LLC requesting the Penfield Town Board to amend the Town Zoning Map to rezone two parcels currently zoned R-1-12 and Multiple Residential respectively to General Business to allow for the expansion of the existing Bay Towne commercial development. Public Scoping is anticipated upon receipt of draft scoping outline from the applicant, an additional filing will follow with direction on that process. The project is located at 1994-B and 1994-C Empire Boulevard in Penfield, New York.
