Project Description:
The applicant proposes to replace an existing 4' diameter culvert pipe and to elevate the road level within Freshwater Wetland GV-11/Sand Hill Creek on Chicken Farm Rd. in the Town of Butternuts. The project will require the installation of a 5' diameter culvert and the placement of fill for a depth of 3 feet, 18 feet wide, and for a distance of 500 feet on top of Chicken Farm Rd. to elevate the road level to correspond with the existing road level east and west of the Freshwater wetland GV-11.

Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to excavate 6 shallow water potholes in Freshwater Wetland # CP-20. The potholes will measure approximately 5,000 square feet in area each and be irregular in shape. The installation of a 2' high by 300' long embankment will be placed along the eastern side of the project/site. Spoil from the construction will be disposed of in an adjacent location and stabilized.
