Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Suffolk County - The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Patchogue, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Applications for the Mixed-Use Development of Downtown Patchogue Redevelopers, LLC. Written comments on the FEIS will be accepted by the contact person listed above until April 7, 2009. The FEIS is available for public review at the office of the contact person and at the Patchogue-Medford Library, 54-60 East Main Street, Patchogue, New York 11772. The FEIS is also posted on the Village of Patchogue's website at: www.patchoguevillage.org. The action involves an application for a change of zone of approximately 4.31 ± acres from the D2 Business District and D3 Business District to the Downtown Redevelopment District (DRD), as well as a site plan application for the construction of a mixed-use development of 240 residential units, 28,460 square feet of retail space, an 111 room hotel, and associated parking and appurtenances. The application also includes the redevelopment of a 0.51 ± acre parcel on the north side of Lake Street for surface parking to be dedicated to the Village; improvements to Havens Avenue, including the alignment with Jennings Avenue; and a land swap between the applicant and the Incorporated Village of Patchogue. The project is located on the northwestern corner of West Main Street and North Ocean Avenue in the Incorporated Village of Patchogue, New York.
