Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The Village of Bergen, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrade will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the upgrade and expansion of the Wastewater Treatment Facility from 0.104 mgd to 0.208 mgd on property owned by the Village of Bergen. The project is located on NYS Route 19 in the Village of Bergen, New York.

Positive Declaration

Wayne County - The Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Macedon as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Incentive Zoning Local Law as an amendment to the Village's Zoning Ordinance may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the adoption of an incentive zoning law which was prepared and is being adopted per section 7-703 of NYS Village Law. The local law will empower the Village Board to provide for zoning incentives, or bonuses, as the Village Board deems necessary and appropriate. These incentives would advance the Village's specific physical, cultural and social policies in accordance with the Village Master Plan. The project is located throughout the Village Macedon, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Steuben County - The Steuben County Industrial Development Agency (SCIDA), as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Steuben Wind Project. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on March 25, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Arkport Central Scool Performing Arts Center, 35 East Avenue, Arkport, NY 14807. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until April 6, 2009. Copies of the DEIS are available for public examination and copying during business hours at the following location:

The action involves the proposal of EC&R Northeast, LLC, the project sponsor, to develop and construct a wind-power generating facility comprised of 36 wind turbines resulting in a total generating capacity of up to 79.5 megawatts. The project is located n the Towns of Hornellsville and Hartsville, New York.
