Nassau County - The Glen Cove City Council, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the Proposed Glen Cove Master Plan. A public hearing on the Draft GEIS will be held on March 18, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Glen Cove City Hall, 9 Glen Street, Glen Cove, NY 11542. Written comments on the Draft GEIS will be accepted until March 31, 2009. The City is facing strong development pressures and needs a vision for addressing future growth. Also included in the environmental review will be the review of the temporary emergency land use controls. The project is located city wide in the City of Glen Cove, New York.
