Utilities will be installed underground along a 225 ± foot long by 10 foot wide utility easement originating from New York State Route 30 northeast of the site to the tower.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Washington County - The Easton Town Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Washington County Fair, Inc. Major Resubdivision Final Plat #5-08. A hard copy of the FEIS is available at the following locations: Town Clerk's Office, Town of Easton, 1071 State Route 40S, Greenwich, NY 12834, and at the Easton Library, 1074 State Route 40, Greenwich, NY 12834. The action involves the subdivision of a 27.8 acre parcel into two lots for commercial use. The remaining land, extending across the rear of the parcel, will be retained by Washington County Fair, Inc. for expansion of the Fairgrounds. Mitigating factors in the FEIS for this project are that due to hydrology and drainage concerns, any development on Lot 2 or Lot 3 will require a professional New York State licensed engineer's report for the drainage, hydrology and on site retention, and that any ground disturbing activities that take place on Lot 2 or Lot 3 will require a SHPO Level 1A survey. Written comments on the FEIS will be received through March 10, 2009. The project is located adjacent to the Washington County Fairgrounds at 392 Old Schuylerville Road in the Town of Easton, New York and is bounded by three highways: NYS Route 29, Old Schuylerville Road, and Windy Hill Road.
