Notice of Acceptance of Supplemental Final EIS
Monroe County - The Town of Irondequoit Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Supplemental Final Environmental Impact Statement on the Proposed Medley Centre Redevelopment and Renovation. A hard copy of the SFEIS is available at the Town Clerk's Office, Irondequoit Town Hall, 1280 Titus Avenue, Rochester, NY 14617. The online version of the SFEIS is available at the following publically accessible web site: www.irondequoit.org. The action involves the proposal by Bersin Properties, LLC to renovate and redevelop the existing 784,000 ± square foot Medley Centre. The Project at full build out includes the net addition of 546,720 ± square foot Gross Leasable Area (GLA) (as defined in SDEIS) retail space, 421 ± rooms in one or more hotels, 330 ± residential units, 194,065 ± square foot GLA office space, and 158,225 ± square foot GLA of theaters and restaurants and/or other uses at the Site. The Project will be constructed in one or more phases, will include demolition of portions of the existing shopping center, and will contain approximately 3,204,175 square foot gross building area. The Project, together with the existing 784,000 ± square feet of the existing shopping center, constitutes the "Redeveloped Project". The project is located at the Medley Centre in the Town of Irondequoit, New York.
