Project Description:
The applicant proposes the mining of sand and gravel and material processing with a portable dry-screen that has a maximum capacity less than 150 tons per hour, on 22.0 acres of land. The reclamation objective is farmland. The haul road occupies an additional 0.25 acres and will be located on Merwin Road approximately 1,500 feet north of the Merwin/Flanigan Road intersection.The proposed mine location is on a 100 acre parcel west of Merwin Road and north as well as east of Flanigan Road.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
