The City of New York Department of Sanitation Announces the Annual Consent Order Meeting Regarding Fresh Kills Landfill
The City of New York Department of Sanitation (DSNY) will hold its annual public meeting regarding the Fresh Kills Landfill on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Staten Island Borough Hall, first floor conference room (Room 122), located at 10 Richmond Terrace in Staten Island, NY 10301. Please use the Stuyvesant Place entrance.
The meeting will provide information on the following:
• Fresh Kills Landfill Consent Order Milestones
• An overview of landfill closure and post-closure plans
Members of the public will have an opportunity to speak, and representatives of DSNY will be available to answer questions.
