Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Erie County - The City of Buffalo Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus - North End Development. A copy of the FEIS can obtained from the contact person listed below. The action involves the development of an approximately 1.2 million square feet of medical, research and office facilities at the north end of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The project will consist of the following:
1. Construction of an approximately 600,00 square foot Global Vascular Institute.
2. Construction of an approximately 200,000 square foot Skilled Nursing Facility.
3. Construction of an approximately 300,000 square foot Medical Office Building.
4. Construction of an approximately 1,200 - 1,600 space Multi-Modal Transportation Structure (MMTS) to service the North End of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
The project is located between North Street and High Street; and Main Street and Maple Street in the City of Buffalo, New York.
