Project Description: The project is a subdivision into sites, involving the lease of a 100 foot x 100 foot parcel to Verizon Wireless for the construction of a new 80 foot tall telecommunications tower and a 12 foot x 30 foot equipment building on a concrete pad at the base of the tower. The tower and equipment building will be located within a 23 foot x 54 foot fenced compound. Verizon proposes a 12 panel antenna array (i.e. four 8 foot panels on each of three sides of the array) mounted flush with the top of the tower and a 4 foot lightening rod above the antennas for an overall height of 84 feet. Access will be by an existing dirt road and a 200 ± foot extension of the road. Utilities will be installed underground.

Saratoga County - The Town of Saratoga Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law Amending Town of Saratoga Zoning Ordinance will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the enactment of a Local Law amending Town of Saratoga Zoning Ordinance by adding the Storage and Repair of General Construction Equipment as a Special Permitted Use in the Rural District. The project is located townwide in the Town of Saratoga, New York.
