Delaware County - The Town of Masonville Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Town of Masonville Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Town Comprehensive Plan. The plan describes goals and objectives for maintaining the Town's rural character while supporting the agricultural traditions and economy of the town. A number of goals and objectives have been identified and an action plan has been established to help to achieve them. The project is located throughout the Town of Masonville, New York.

Conditioned Negative Declaration
Saratoga County - The Town Board of the Town of Clifton Park, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Windhover Farms project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided that specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice. The action involves a twenty (20) lot increase in permitted single family dwelling unit density pursuant to Town Code Article VB in connection with the proposed development of 131.12 acres of land into a forty five (45) single family detached home building lots and a horse farm, together with related improvements. The project is located on the north side of Grooms Road approximately one half mile west of Grooms Corners in the Town of Clifton Park, New York.
The conditions are: (1) The applicant shall design and incorporate into the project a stormwater management system in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), and shall develop and implement a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan which includes, inter alia, erosion and sediment control measures to be implemented during both the construction and operational phases of the project; (2) Applicant shall demonstrate, prior to site plan approval, that (i) any increase in vehicular trips resulting from the proposed subdivision and horse farm will not result in a reduction in the existing level of service on Grooms Road, and (ii) that sight distances at the proposed main driveway and proposed secondary/emergency access driveway are within the minimum calculated sight distances outlined by the AASHTO Policy on Geometric Design; and (3) Applicant shall submit, prior to site plan approval, a Manure Management Control Plan.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft GEIS and Public Hearing
Delaware County - The Village of Margaretville, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption of a Comprehensive Plan and subsequent related Updated Zoning and New Subdivision Regulations. A public hearing on the Draft GEIS will be held on January 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village of Margaretville Office, 773 Main Street, Margaretville, New York. Written comments on the Draft GEIS will be accepted until January 31, 2009. The action involves the adoption of the Comprehensive Land Use and Action Plan which incorporates: a community process and a product of inventory, analysis, civic input and envisionings and framed recommendations for action around topic areas, including recommendations for zoning and subdivision laws. The project is located throughout the Village of Margaretville, New York.
