The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Westchester County - Westchester County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Saxon Woods Golf Course Cart Path, Irrigation, Fairway and Drainage Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rehabilitation of existing site features at Saxon Woods public golf course. The project will include the installation of drainage infrastructure on fairways, upgrading the irrigation system to be more cost and resource efficient, repair of asphalt cart paths and connection of discontinuous paths, construction of new stormwater management features, reconstruction of existing sand bunkers and expansion of four existing tees. The project is located at 315 Mamaroneck Road in Scarsdale, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Orange County - The Town of Cornwall Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Cornwall Commons Planned Adult Community Site Plan. The FEIS and all attachments are available online at: http://www.cornwallcommonspac.com. The action involves a request for site plan approval for a Planned Adult Community (PAC) plan consisting of 490 age restricted units (314 single family detached, 14 single family attached, and 162 multifamily units) and community recreation facilities, on Lot 10 of the preliminarily approved Cornwall Commons subdivision. Lot 10 consists of 158.9 acres on a proposed town road connecting to NYS Route 9W. The project is located northwest of NYS Route 9W, near the former O&W Railway line, up to the Town of New Windsor municipal boundary line in the Town of Cornwall, New York.
